On March 11 the on-line survey "IT Governance 2009” was launched. Its order is to identify the level of implementation of IT Governance principles in large Polish private and public organizations.
The aim of this initiative is the popularization of IT management based on the principles of corporate governance and the obtaining of a reliable picture of IT governance in Poland. The results of the survey will provide a basis for comparison of the situation in Poland with the international trends in the IT Governance and the usage of best practices in managing IT.
The project was prepared and carried out by the company DOBIS - expert in the management of IT and Consulting MSG in cooperation with the members of the cluster CGE (Compliance, Efficiency and Governance in it), Pomeranian Department and under the auspices of the Polish Information Processing Society.
The organizers invite all interested in taking part in the survey by sending notifications to the address given below. Respective questions in the survey were developed based on the standards and best practices in managing IT, such as COBIT or ITIL, used worldwide in business, so they may also form the basis for a comparison of respondents with the organization of corporate governance in IT.
In addition, it offers to all of the participators access to unpublished results of this survey and the report summarizing the project.
